The desulfurization tower works by facilitating contact between gas and liquid, transferring pollutants from the gas to the liquid phase. Clean gas is then separated from the contaminated liquid, achieving air purification.
Particulate pollutants contact with detergent, where droplets or liquid membranes diffuse onto airflow particles. Separation occurs through gravity and inertia forces. Gaseous pollutants transfer into washing liquids through turbulence, molecular diffusion, and chemical reactions.
The exhaust gas undergoes reverse adsorption treatment - liquid is sprayed downward as mist while gas flows upward from the tower base. This process cools waste gas, conditions it, removes particles, and discharges purified air after defogging.
