Operating Principle
The FRP desulfurization tower works by facilitating contact between gas and liquid, transferring pollutants from the gas stream to the liquid phase. Clean gas is then separated from the contaminated liquid, achieving air purification.
Particulate pollutants are removed through droplet diffusion and inertial separation, while gaseous pollutants are transferred via turbulence, molecular diffusion, and chemical reactions. Chemical additives in the washing liquid can control odorous substances through absorption.
The exhaust gas enters from the tower bottom while liquid is sprayed downward from the top as fine mist, creating counter-current contact. This process cools the gas, removes particles, and treats the gas before discharge through the defogging section.
