Ideal for chemical industry, foundry industry, and high pollution environments requiring reliable bromine extraction solutions.
Unlike natural salt lakes with high bromine concentration (2,000-12,000 ppm) used in other countries, China's bromine production utilizes medium brine and underground brine with lower bromine content (250-350 ppm), requiring specialized extraction technology.
Seawater is evaporated and conditioned to produce bitter brine. The brine is pumped and treated with acid and chlorine gas to oxidize bromide into elemental bromine, which is then processed through our specialized tower system.
The bromine-containing gas reacts with sulfur dioxide and fresh water to form hydrobromic acid and sulfuric acid, which are then processed through our absorption tower system for efficient collection.
The final distillation process yields bromine with 99.85% purity and minimal chlorine ion content (less than 0.02%), meeting industry standards for quality and performance.
